2007 Volvo XC90 - Reliable
The Volvo XC90 is the safest vehicle I have ever owned. It is sturdy, has plenty of seating and cargo room, and does not require a lot of ongoing maintenance or unexpected repairs. What I dislike about it is that it's not very fuel efficient, even if you're doing a lot of highway driving. My model also lacks some entertainment options like Bluetooth and navigation that are available on newer models.
Story
Took this vehicle on a road trip last summer from Ohio to Texas and back without a problem. Put camping gear in the back and spent some nights camping out at Texas state parks, which was a lot of fun.
Pros
Safety, low-maintenance, and reliable.
Cons
Bad MPG. Lacks entertainment options other models now have.
