1998 Volvo S90 -
This car has been in my family on and off for about 15 years, and it has always been a reliable, comfortable vehicle the simple city driving I use it for. It's not particularly rugged, but it drives smoothly and has minimal mechanical issues. It's an older vehicle, of course, so it's definitely falling apart here and there. The A/C doesn't work the best in the summer, the weather stripping has come off the driver's side door, and the leather is cracked in a number of places. That said, considering the age, and that it has over 170,000 miles, this car is a gem, and part of the family.
Story
I drove home to Sacramento during one of the worst blizzards in Tahoe's recorded history with this car. It was one of the scariest things I've ever done.
Pros
Easy. Doesn't break down much and drives smoothly, including on the highway. It's a rear-wheel drive and has a divine turning radius. Even though it's a longer car, I can slide into almost any parking spot.
Cons
It's older and cosmetically deteriorating. Volvo mechanics can be hard to find in the U.S., although fortunately, I have a good one. It doesn't have the best acceleration, particularly going up big hills. It is not practical for driving in any sort of adverse weather or rough terrain. As a rear-wheel drive, it's even worse than your run-of-the-mill city sedan in the snow. Would not recommend in a snowy clime.
2012 Volvo S90 - It's like a luxury ship
Volvo S90's standard engine (designated T5) is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 250 horsepower. It gets the job done for daily driving, but it's short on thrills.

We took this car to Illinois. It was a lot of fun.

2010 Volvo S90 - Good.
It is a good car. I am mostly satisfied with it. I mostly need it for work so it doesn't bother me for many factors.
Story
It was two years ago, I went to the beach and after the day at the beach, I entered and it felt like a hot sauna. I laughed so hard.
Pros
It has many pros. One of them I like the most is the fact that it doesn't spend to much gasoline. It is very saving.
