2013 Volkswagen Passat -
The vehicle is well built, solid and is smooth when it drives. I have 70,000 miles on it and have loved every minute I spent driving it. It is sleek and comfortable, with more then enough leg room in the back. The vehicle gets excellent gas mileage, handles really well going around corners and makes no noises when driving. The interior is spectacular with the touch screen radio/satellite/navigation system. The one thing I love about this car is the exceptional trunk space. Having children involved in sports requires me having to haul around a bunch of equipment and the trunk provides plenty of room.
Story
My daughter's cheer squad needed to practice their routine with music. Unfortunately, the coach did not have a radio to play there music on. I pulled my car into the yard, put down all the windows and turned the stereo up. Everyone loved the sound quality, and the girls enjoyed blasting the music from my car.
Pros
Touch screen radio/satellite/navigation. Six-CD changer. Trunk space. Leg space. Handling. Fuel consumption.
2005 Volkswagen Passat - Good car for my needs
The vehicle caught my attention with the way it handled during the test drive. The ride was smooth and steering very fluid. Brakes and safety features really stood out. I enjoyed the interior and stereo system on long hauls. Gas mileage was a little iffy for me. I would have liked more options as well.
Story
I took the dogs, three of them, to the park. All were sitting, looking out the back window.
Pros
The size of the vehicle was surprising. I could fit several people and dogs in this car! Plenty of storage for dog show equipment in the trunk. It was classify with no shortage on mechanics. Color was suitable as well.
Cons
I would have loved this car in a wagon. It did give me a few issues trying to understand the manual. Also, emissions became hard to pass after several years. Repairs can be costly.
