2015 Volkswagen Jetta - An efficient and reliable compact car.
Overall, I think that the Volkswagen Jetta is a great investment. I was looking for a compact sedan and test drove a few other options before deciding on leasing this car. Even though it is a compact sedan, the interior and trunk spaces are roomy. I have had no issues in terms of maintenance. I go in once a year for a checkup/oil change but have had no repair costs outside of that. I only drive my car on the weekends, since I don't need it for commuting, but I have found the gas mileage to be efficient. The sound system and all of the electronic features still work perfectly after two years.
Story
After moving to a new town, I made a trip to Ikea for new furniture with this car. I wasn't sure that the trunk space would be enough, but I was pleasantly surprised. All of my purchases fit, including very large boxes of shelves (after putting the seats down in the backseat of course).
Pros
The car has great fuel efficiency. I have had no repair costs on any components after two years of leasing the car. The car is compact but still roomy enough for long drives. The car's handling is responsive.
Cons
My only negative response to the vehicle is that some of the plastic parts used in the interior seem a little bit cheap. There is some rattling that occurs on the highway from some of the plastic side paneling.
2007 Volkswagen Jetta - Amazing first car
I like how the Volkswagen Jetta is a great entry-level car. It is great for new drivers. This is because it is one of the safest cars on the market. Volkswagen is known as a reputable brand. It's design is modern and stylish and is very popular among people of my age group (16-21). It is a classy looking car.
Story
"Passing the aux cable" with my friends and getting to listen to everyone's favorite music while driving.
Pros
I enjoy how simple the car is to use inside with streamlined features. It is great for friends because it is modern enough to have an aux cable for music from a smartphone. I enjoy that it doesn't have a complex computer in it for my personal taste.
Cons
It is a "basic' Volkswagen: there is no automated climate control system. You can just increase the air as cold. It occasionally turned on warning lights when there was no need like a false positive.
