My third Jetta. Reasonable power, comfortable, great space. I never had any passengers complain ( leather trim interior) and as the driver it is one of the most driver friendly cars I owned. Handling has been great, handles even better at higher speeds. It's a pleasure to have on the open road. I've driven it cross country twice and it has always felt reliable. Interior dashboard is simple, sleek and user friendly. Shifting can be manual or automatic. Adequate trunk space, flip down seats, 4-door. It's a little longer than the early 2000 Jetta's...Feels more like a mid sedan vs. smaller sport version sedan.
Story
Weekly trips to the park with my dog and once a week I vacuum the car which is made easy by the leather interior and split rear seats.
Pros
Highway handling is smooth, response is crisp, drives incredibly well using cruise control on long stretches. Monsoon sound system is fantastic. It's a reasonably quiet car and it keeps out exterior sound well so when it comes to music it's like being in a theater. I love listening to music in my car.
Cons
Torque could be better - I would not mind a little more punch for the release but it's a fast enough car.

I have a 2012 VW Jetta. This is the Wolfsburg Edition. That means it comes fully loaded with leather, sport wheels, sport suspension, turbo motor, and etc. This car is also a manual car, so if you can not drive a stick shift, it will be hard for you to drive. All in all a good car. Very sporty for the young at heart.
Story
I learned a few German words from reading the manual. This car is all German, and even the parts have German writing on it. This car is definitely European.
Pros
Small and compact car. This allows you to park in tiny spaces. Also very good on gas. You will not feel you wallet hurt from the small, but fast engine. Car handles well. This car is a German machine. All in all a very nice car.
Cons
This car is not reliable. Parts are rare and hard to get. Please make sure the car is under warranty. Also, electronic problems. This is a European car, so it is high to maintain. Just make sure you take care of the car.
