2008 Volkswagen Jetta - One of my favorite cars I have ever owned!
I love my VW Jetta. I love the interior/exterior color combination (gray inside and black outside). It is super easy to drive and has great pick up and go with the extra turbo boost where most 4 cylinder cars have little pick up and go. There's plenty of room on the inside. My husband is 6'6 and can actually sit in the front seat without his knees being smashed against the dashboard. I love that I can hook my phone up to the aux in the middle console and listen to my own music or I heart radio. This car is the perfect size for our little family!
Story
The night we got this car we loaded the dogs up and went for a drive out in the country. It was fun and relaxing.
Pros
My absolute favorite feature are the automatic windows. The automatically roll down and up with just a single touch of the button. I have yet to find another vehicle that has the windows rolling up automatically. The trunk room is outrageous! We can fit our full size stroller in there and go on a shopping spree (including groceries) and still have room left over. The trunk makes road trips better since everything can be packed into the trunk for a 3 person family (one person being a toddler). I have over 130,000 miles and the car still runs perfectly with very little maintenance.
Cons
The car becomes very small when you add a car seat in it. I have to put the rear facing car seat behind my seat since I'm so small (5'4"). Now that our child has graduated to front facing, the car seat can go in the middle of the backseat. Finding a VW dealership in smaller towns is difficult. I moved from a bigger city to a smaller one and have to drive at least an hour and a half to the nearest dealership.
