My 2007 Jetta is an incredible car. I have owned it for 3 year and find it runs fantastic. I take the car for a 600 Miles ride every the other weekend for almost a year now and it has not let me down once. The car feels strong and stable. The air is cold in summer and heater is great during winter.
Story
This car is a worker and drives me back and forth 300 miles to visit my GF, the drive is smooth.
Pros
Stability, the car is heavy therefore you can feel very stable when you are driving the high way specially during windy and rainy days like the Florida summer. Break System, I have been into situations where I have had to suddenly break in the highway at a speed. The car is always stable and never had an accident. If you need to transport things this car has so much space, I have moved a reclinomatic chair on it.
Cons
The interior is not stylish, it simple and can be improved. The radio in mar car can nor be connected to device such as phone, only has CD player.

This is the first VW I've owned. Like: Fun to drive, handles well, drives smoothly. Dislikes: Mechanics don't like working on them (hard to find one that knows what they're doing), some strange issues (e.g., Center console broke 2 months after purchase).
Story
Learning to drive stick-shift on hills! We (the Jetta & I) survived the experience :)
Pros
Fun to drive, love the heated seats, leather seats, manual is sportier than other manual version of similar cars
Cons
Takes a long time when repairs are needed [i.e., Everything is very exact & mechanics complain about "precise German engineering -- though, maybe that's a pro AND a con :)]. Headlights don't turn off automatically (aside from running lights) -- this is just foreign to me, my '99 4Runner's lights managed to turn off automatically.
