This was a great little car. I purchased it new and had it for 7 years and only got a new car because it had 200k miles on it and I travel a lot for work and I wanted something new. It still ran great when I sold it. Only needed routine minor repairs over the course of ownership.
Story
I drove for 10 hours straight and only has to stop for gas twice.
Pros
The best feature was the gas mileage. I had a standard gas model. I got roughly 28 city 43 hwy. it had a small engine but great get up. Very reliable too. I only had to do normal repairs like brake pads tune ups etc. when needed. Fair price too. Interior is basic but nice.
Cons
Not that many cons with this car. It was a little smaller than I would like but I'll take the smaller size as a trade off for better gas mileage. I will say the interior could use some work. also repair parts can be hard to get.

The gas mileage for the Jetta was nice, however the plastic feel of the trim degraded by overall happiness of the vehicle.
Story
Driving in the winter was fun. The parking brake is placed perfectly to allow for power slides in the snow and ice... I would go in-depth, but I could get in trouble.
Pros
The fuel economy was a very nice bonus. I would get between 25 and 30 mpg while driving to and from work in the city. The vehicle handled very well also, I was able to corner and maneuver through traffic confidently. This also made it very fun to drive.
Cons
The fuel mileage was great, but the performance was lacking. I would have to rack it up to around 6k and it would struggle. The plastic feel of the interior degraded by overall happiness. Traditionally, German cars are built more solid, it felt like this was built to save money.

Great Service, people were friendly. No pressuring or suggesting, more patient than expected. Good prices overall. Decent overall selection of cars. They let us use a computer in store to browse their website to narrow our selection.
