Vehicle has been a great buy. Purchased it with 86k miles on the clock and so far after another 40k had no issues. Interior has held up well, no rips or deterioration of leather. All items on dash are clean and damage free. Electronically the car works like a dream, the touch screen display never lags or freezes, audio system is above average with crisp clean quality.
Story
Freshly detailed vehicle parked at the beach in the Hamptons during a sunset gives me an awesome visual memory of my beautiful car.
Pros
Esthetically beautiful, very smooth and quiet drive. Suspension system allows for excellent cornering. Sound and entertainment system is crisp, clean and powerful.
Cons
Electronic parking brake doesn't allow for use while driving, i.e. racing, cornering, etc. Maintenance tends to be expensive as parts come from Germany. Only the CC has this issue as the Passat and Jetta.

My car is a beautiful white with two-toned heated seats. It has a built-in auxiliary cord for my iPod. It connects to Bluetooth so I can make personal and professional cars on the go and listen to my music on my phone. The car drove so smoothly that it was easy to find your self speeding and not realizing you were over the speed limit. The car almost looked like a BMW from the outside as well as the inside. It was a four seater and didn't have much room in the back, but I looked at it positively that I wouldn't have to cramp a lot of people in my car. The trunk is spacious also. My real issues with the vehicle included that it burned a lot of oil quickly. I am constantly replacing the oil. My car isn't supposed to take regular gas, so it is a bit more expensive to fill the car up becau... (more)
Story
My friend was driving my car, and some guys in a brand new BMW pulled up on the side of us and tried to race us. She was nervous because it wasn't her car, but I told her to throw it in sport mode and beat them. When the light turned green, we were racing for a few blocks until my car beat them for over a block long, and then they turned the corner and disappeared because they were embarrassed... (more)
Pros
My favorite things about the car included that it had heated seats, so it came in handy during the winter time. I really liked that I had four seats because it kept it a comfortable amount of people to be in the car at once. The two-toned seats are what really sold me on the car in the beginning because I just think it really made the vehicle look so much more elegant and classy. The Bluetooth was also another selling point for me and my grandparents who helped me pick out the car because I know I am always talking on my phone, and we didn't want any issues with that. The fact that my seat... (more)
Cons
The thing that bothers me the most about this vehicle is how low to the ground it is. It is really unsafe, especially in icy and snowy weather and definitely not appealing for living in the city with so many potholes and bumps. I used to like that I had the built-in iPod plug for an iPod that I have currently. But, now the iPod is outdated and only links to that specific version. I would have much rather a built-in Aux cord so that I could put any device on it. My car burns up a lot of oil quickly, and I am constantly needing it to get changed at least every three to five months, depending... (more)

I enjoy driving my VW CC, however there are quite a few flaws that have cropped up over time. The interior and exterior are great, features are great, engine is strong, and the car drives well. However, I spend about $1,000 a year in repairs on this vehicle.
Story
It drives nice on the highway. I enjoy commuting to work in this vehicle. When hearing other's stories, I feel that I have been relatively lucky regarding my purchase.
Pros
The car drives nice, engine runs strong, vehicle is relatively efficient, and I enjoy the feel of the car. There are quite a few features that I would not have received if I had bought a new car vs this used one.
Cons
I feel that this car has quite a few quality defects regarding the transmission and engine. I have spent about $1,000 a year on this vehicle in unexpected maintenance costs. I would drive another VW, but would probably buy new. Overall, I feel neutral about my purchase, conflicted in the day to day usability.
