I like almost everything abut my car. It's fun to drive and is very stylish. I can get in and out of any situation where parking is limited or spaces are close. It has a pretty quick response, and I can merge on the interstate under heavy traffic with no problems. My car is 9 years old, and I still have strangers tell me they love my car.
Story
Everyday I drive it, it's a fun memorable experience. Seriously, that's what I like so much about the car. It's the fun of it. It's not about luxury for me.
Pros
The size of the car makes it easy to get around any small places, specifically parking decks. It has a quick response time so merging in traffic is no problem. And I've never had to even use the sport gear that is designed for a quicker response. The gas mileage is very good as well. It handles very easy, and the steering is very tight with no play in the wheel. With the seats down I can haul a pretty big load in the back. I have to tell myself its not a truck sometimes.
Cons
I am experiencing some problems with the interior. The drivers seat is made of a fake leather, and it's beginning to crack in several areas. The a/c goes on and off. The center console has broken and needs to be completely replaced. I think of the car is more for fun than for luxury, but the road sounds are pretty loud. The cabin could be a little quieter. The blind spot is worse than other cars I have owned, but after several years I figured out a way to get around it.

2007 Volkswagen Beetle - Cute, zippy, high maintenance.

Like the appearance and pickup speed, dislike constant window issues and regular warning lights. The car is fun to drive. But it seems like every month there is a window that won't roll up or a warning light on the dash. Sometimes it is something simple, but I have spent more money than I would have liked on big repairs as well. On the other hand, I get lots of comments about how cute it is. People who ride with me are surprised by the comfort and head room. The seats have held up well. When clean it is a sharp ride inside and out. It is ok on gas, but could be better. Does not compare with newer compacts on that front, likely due to its age. Overall a good car but it is almost time to get something newer.
Story
I always see people driving their beetles in my neighborhood and usually we wave at each other. So that's fun. Also it does fit a car seat in the back and so I have been able to take my friend's daughter to school a few times which was very fun. Finally I used it to take baked goods to a farmers market once for a charity sale, and popping the hatchback made a shady spot to rest out of the sun.
Pros
Appearance, stereo, comfortable ride, acceleration.
Cons
Frequent issues causing stress for me and my family.
