I decided to downsize our family vehicle. The change in space was hard for us, however we quickly got used to it. It is as large as other SUV's on the market, it's size. I love the way it handles when driven. It is like driving a car, as far turn radius, and quickness. However it has the body of an SUV and the feeling of a larger vehicle. The road noise can be loud, and was not noticed at the beginning. That causes it to be very hard to talk on Bluetooth while driving at higher speeds. It is great and perfect for getting around town and running errands. It is also extremely comfortable for road trips. No complaining from my large husband. The seats are very comfortable. My son has a very large car seat in the back and there is still plenty of room for two adults to be back there with h... (more)
Story
We recently moved to a much smaller town, and it has been great to have better gas mileage than our large SUV. This is better for the stop and go traffic, and the quick trips to the store just down the road.
Pros
Handling of the vehicle is extremely nice. You can take corners, and turns without getting that SUV tipping feeling. It handles like a car and hugs the turns, and corners. While it has all the head space, and feeling of an SUV.
Cons
Road noise. During test drives and 30 minute drives the noise was not noticeable. We then took a five and a half our road trip and noticed it was very loud. It is hard to speak on Bluetooth if you are driving over 50 MPH because of the background noise.

I've had this car for 5 years now and really enjoy the interior of it. It looks more expensive than it is. Originally, I was looking to by a Highlander, but at the time, the Venzas were new and when I saw them on the lot, I told myself I had to have the car.
Story
I like to drive the car around with friends who have smaller cars. It is a great way for us to get to/from the city with the extra space, but also in a car that looks stylish.
Pros
The car is very attractive. There is a lot of space. I have the convenience package with the touch-doors and button liftgate for the trunk. I also have the leather package. It rides very smoothly and is decent on gas.
Cons
The steering wheel is not very responsive and the driver feels very disconnected from the road. My air conditioning recently broke...Apparently there is a leak in the freon somewhere. The leather and heated seats were NOT installed by Toyota, which the dealership never told me when I was purchasing the car with the options I wanted. As a result, my heated seats constantly break and the leather quality is not good and Toyota is not responsible for any of it, so repairs were never covered under my initial warranty. The electric panel/fuse box actually caught on fire recently as a result of t... (more)

My vehicle is the perfect size for my family, we are four in total. I also have a boy that has down syndrome, and because his legs are extremely short the vehicle is not too high so he does not have a problem exiting and entering the vehicle. I have enough space in the trunk to accommodate a 30" wide wheelchair comfortably. And have space for groceries and other shopping items.
Story
Driving around Times Square late at night, then travelling around lower Manhattan. We also used our vehicle when we went to visit the statue of liberty. Our vehicle also took us to Washington, D.C. and Rhode Island. We love taking short trips with vehicle, and since you can take a lot with you it is easy travelling. Also love all the cup holders.
Pros
I love the gas mileage on my car, I rarely have to fill up and the most it takes is about $30.00. Which is perfect a I do not have a lot of time to be going to the gas station all the time. My interior is plastic, which makes cleaning a breeze especially when we are eating in the car all the time. As I do maintain my vehicle i.e. oil changes, etc. I am expecting my vehicle to last a long time. I do not overwork my car and try to be as gentle with it as I can.
Cons
Overall I not unhappy with my car, but I would have like the engine to be a bit more powerful, especially when I am running late. I would have liked for the space between the two front seats to be seats only. I can do without the compartment in the middle. It is a bit uncomfortable for a larger person, even with the seat all the way to the back. Also when my daughter is sitting in the back and the front seat is as far back as it can go she is uncomfortable.
