This vehicle is one that I've been looking to buy for several years, partially because it's a Toyota, and every Toyota I've owned has been dependable and economical. Also, because I've wanted to own another pickup truck for several years but drive a long commute 5 days a week. Because of the higher mileage driven, I needed a smaller truck that got good mileage but still looked "cool" and would do still be large enough to haul stuff around in if necessary. The Tacoma fit all these specifications perfectly, and I'm very happy with my purchase.
Story
I've talked about owning this for several years now, but I had a car that was already paid for and wasn't looking forward to more car payments. But my girlfriend pushed me into it, and I know she's super excited for me to finally have this.
Pros
Best-looking mid-size truck on the market. High clearance. Good gas mileage. Toyota dependability. Comfortable interior. Good acceleration and power.
Cons
Because it's a Toyota, it's higher priced than most other mid-sized pickups. Seating area is actually smaller than my previous Rav4.

My vehicle is a six cylinder, 2004, black Toyota pre-runner. The interior is light brown with cloth seating. The truck as a whole has held up very well over the years.
Story
One of the most memorable things we do each year is watch the fire works display on the Fourth of July. Our town puts on a show every year. We usually take my truck, park in a nearby parking lot, and sit in the back to watch the fire works. Our kids love it.
Pros
The engine is relatively powerful, and with regular maintenance, has been long lasting and dependable.
Cons
The only negative concerning this vehicle is that it has a timing belt that must be changed periodically. Servicing this part can run hundreds of dollars.
