2011 Toyota Sienna - A Workhorse of a Minivan
I have owned this car for six years and have driven over 120,000 miles. The build quality is great. After all these miles, I have had no major mechanical, structural or technical problems. The interior has held up very well despite heavy use. I have had to move several households over these six years and the amount of furniture and boxes that can comfortably fit in this van is amazing. I can load the back like a moving van, but it feels like a sedan when I drive. It has a small turning radius and handles very well in small spaces. It is easy to parallel park. With the back seats out, I can fit whole sheets of drywall flat in the cargo area.
Story
We took this minivan on a short vacation and when we arrived, our motel had lost our reservation. It was too late and too remote to find an alternative, so we pulled out our sleeping bags and were able to sleep pretty comfortably in the back.
Pros
I love the heated seats. The Bluetooth capability has made long drives (and I've had a lot of them) much more pleasant because I can easily listen to podcasts. I like the automated side and rear doors--that I can open and close them from the driver's seat. I like how short the front of the car is, which makes it more maneuverable. Having two glove compartments is nice--I can keep paperwork like the manual, my insurance card and registration--in the smaller top one for easy access, and I can put larger items in the larger lower one. Cons
Among the few downsides to this car are how low the front rides. When I pull up to a parking space with a concrete bumper, the bottom of the front edge often scrapes on it. I also dislike how hard it is to access the spare tire--you need to pull up the carpet in the back seat and crank the tire down. The rear doors are sometimes uncooperative and open or close partially then stop.
2011 Toyota Sienna - Trusty, Safe Sienna!
Let me just say, if you want a car to raise your family with - look no further! With 4 children, a husband in the construction industry, and various road trips across America, our trusty Sienna has been with us through it all. It has been almost 5 years since we purchased this car (pre-owned!) And it is still running good as new. 7 Seats, spacious, reliable, and beautiful, the sienna le is a car I would buy again and again/
Story
My family and I have a condo out in Florida, I remember driving our Sienna from Philadelphia down to Disneyland for the first time - we drove all night in our spacious car! It was a dream come true and a great adventure.
