2000 Toyota Sienna - It is the most reliable car I own.
I love that it has very little maintenance needs, and when it does the parts are always affordable. It is a reliable car that has been in the family since it was bought over 7 years ago. We bought the car used and the car did not give us trouble for a very long time. It is spacious and allows for big family outings. We have been able to travel long distances with a full cargo including people.
Story
We took this car 4 hours north 2 years ago to some lake cabins. We had a great time because we decided to get everything we needed up there and it was just an enjoyable experience to have our car be so reliable after so many years of having it.
Pros
The car has ample space for storage and still remains comfortable even when we fill up all the seats. It has a large weight capacity. We have carried furniture and numerous heavy things. Another positive aspect is how smooth and easy it drives for an older car. I learned to drive in this car.
Cons
It was already used when we bought it meaning that it already had some significant mileage on it. We've had to maintain the car more frequently as the years pass which makes us think that it soon may be time to let it go and get a newer car. We are thinking about a more recent version of the same car.
2009 Toyota Sienna - Trustworthy family hauler.
The 09 Sienna is a force to be reckoned with. After putting more than 100K on my van in just 4 years, I have almost no complaints. Other than normal maintenance, the only issues I have run in to is a leaky water pump and a snapped automatic door cable. Every feature in the van is still in perfect working order and no matter how much stuff I put in the trunk, the mileage continues to impress me. The drive is smooth and responsive, but never lets you forget that you are in a minivan. The engine does the job it needs to but lacks excitement.
The interior is comfortable for long trips and has held up well with my kids pounding on it.
I have tried out every minivan on the market and nothing beats the sienna.

Story
This van has driven my family safely from NY to TN twice, NC, 4 times, and Florida 6 times along with a ton of other adventures. It is a blast for road trips and keeps us safe.
Pros
Reliability, mileage, storage space.
Cons
Some visibility issues when the passenger is seated upright. The stock headlights are super dim.
