I bought the Toyota Rav 4 in 2002. It is now 2017 and the car is still in excellent condition. The radio and electric components are still working. The speakers within the vehicle are still loud and clear. There are minor blemishes from a decade of usage but that is to be expected. The chair in the back can be pulled up for extra trunk storage. This space is big enough to put bikes in. The design of the vehicle is a little outdated but again it was bough a decade ago. Overall I enjoy using this vehicle.
Story
One memorable story is when a car tried to cut in front of me. I brake and the vehicle come to a sudden stop. No sliding occurred.
Pros
The vehicle is very durable. Its been over a decade and most of its components is still in tact. What I like most about the vehicle is it's 4-wheel drive. I also like storage capabilities.
Cons
I think the only con for this vehicle is the fuel efficiency.

It's a great car for a family of 4. Handles well in the snow. Roomy. Beautiful exterior. Nice sized SUV. Unfortunately we've had some sensor issues that had to be fixed. Gas mileage is ok.
Story
We always take our family trips in my car. We love taking it to Lake Michigan which is close by.
Pros
4WD, good sized car, roomy trunk, works well in the snow and uneven terrain, love the electric seats, it's fairly reliable.
Cons
We've had it in repair several times for sensor issues. t's really only a 4 seater, you can't really fit 3 people in the backseat, esp. with 2 car seats there is not room in the back. When we bought the car we didn't consider that we have family from overseas visiting once a year that should fit in the car too. We always have to take 2 cars with guests. So our next car will be a 3 row SUV. The 4 WD only activates if you push a button. Wish it had an integrated camera and DVD player for the kids.

Not long after purchasing my Toyota RAV4 from another dealer, I ran into issues with its mufflers. I was no longer living near the dealer from which I had purchased the car, so I took it to Spartan Toyota. They were very easy to work with and quickly got me an appointment so that they could examine the problem. They thoroughly explained the issue, and provided me with a few options I could choose from to correct the problem. At all times they were courteous and professional.
