2006 Toyota RAV4 - The Toyota Rav-4 is a great all-around vehicle.
My Rav-4 is great all-around vehicle. It has a smooth ride like a car. As a small SUV, it sits a little higher than a car, so you can see over them and further ahead into traffic. In the back, you can put quite a bit of 'stuff.' It has over 90,000 miles and has not needed major repairs. It has decent power when merging onto the freeway or passing cars. I like that it has a full-size spare tire. The blind spots are minimal. Probably my favorite feature is the side opening rear door. It opens out, not up. It is so very easy to open and close. I wish the new Rav-4s still had this feature! My only complaints are the gas mileage and it burns a lot of motor oil.
Story
It has been used twice to take my mother and I on vacation to Arizona. It's been to Phoenix and to Sedona.
Pros
My favorite features are the side opening rear door, the full-size spare tire, and the height of the vehicle and the durability (not yet needing major repairs, knock on wood).
Cons
My complaints are the so-so gas mileage and that it burns a lot of motor oil. I mostly drive on city streets, and the mpg is around 19-20. I also have to top off the oil between oil changes. My mechanic tells me it's a characteristic of this vehicle.
2007 Toyota RAV4 - Great Road Trip Vehicle
I love my Toyota Rav-4. It used to be my dads, but he sold it to me on the cheap when he got a new car. It has over 190,000 miles on it, but it runs fine still. I feel comfortable driving my friends around or going on road trips. I used to live in a rural area and had to drive it through the snow. It was good for day trips and skiing. Now I live in a city. Either way, I like it. It's not too big and gets around well. I sit above traffic without feeling like it's a giant Hummer or anything like that. I wish I had the newer model, but the old one holds up well.
Story
I went on a 20,000 mile road trip all over America, and the car did well. We had a flat tire once but that was due to going over a nail. Other than that, we didn't have to worry about it breaking down at all.
Pros
The car holds up well, is easy to maintain, and is cool. It's not too big and not too small. It's comfortable, and I enjoy driving it in the winter and the summer.
Cons
I've had the car for a while now, and it is getting a bit old. I wish it had things like a rear-view camera, and I wish the heat worked better. Overall, the cars holds up well, but after awhile I think it might be time for an upgrade.

2000 Toyota Camry - Elk Grove Toyota
This dealership was great since they were helpful with answering questions. The staff was knowledgeable and on point with their cars. They also were friendly and helpful. Furthermore, they helped me know the ins and outs of buying a car and also on how to maintain the car. Test driving the car was the best thing I was able to do.
2012 Toyota RAV4 - Toyota Marin San Rafael
Their customer service was exemplary. They were never pushy. They worked with us on financing, giving information in a clear, easy to understand way. The price was right - and they came down after we negotiated. Everyone who worked there was friendly.
