When I first saw the RAV4 in the dealership lot, I thought of it as a cheap knock off of a Subaru Outback. I was pleasantly surprised that this car seemed to have more space inside than a Suby (Subaru). I have owned it for a year, and this car not only has some get up and go, it also has 4WD! There is a spare tire (not a donut a complete tire) that is mounted on the back of the vehicle.
Story
I had to place some 2x4x8s in the vehicle. My wife and I laid the seats down and had to boards sitting between us while we rode home. I had to turn my body in to funny shapes to reach the slap shift.
Pros
Great gas mileage! Also, the storage is surprisingly large. I have been able to transport eight-foot long building materials from Lowes with no problems. This vehicle is the perfect hybrid between car, truck, and 4WD vehicle. I have been able to navigate snow and ice in it better than most other vehicles on the road at the time. It has required hardly any maintenance other than the routine things like tires, oil, brakes, etc. I did have to replace the alternator, but it is over ten years old! Cons
Sometimes you can hear some plastic rattling a bit when you get up to speed on the freeway. Nothing that is falling apart, just a design flaw in the vehicle. It also only has a cigarette lighter for power. It would be great if it had USB ports like most modern vehicles, but this car was made over ten years ago, so I can't complain about that aspect too much.

I love the color of my RAV4. It is a blue color. It is a very dependable car. I like how it has a lot of storage space in the back and comes with hidden storage. It is perfect to travel with my dog with her crate on long trips. The leg room in the vehicle is amazing. Very spacious. The air conditioner cools the car quickly and heat heats the car quickly. It is good on gas mileage.
Story
I love going to Blue Ridge Parkway and just driving in my vehicle looking at the fall leaves.
Pros
It has great storage space. It has a CD player and USB port. It has Bluetooth. It has lots of leg room. It has good gas mileage. I love that there are four cup holders in the front and two in the back. I love the color of the vehicle. I love how the back seats fold down which gives more options of what you can fit in the back of the vehicle.
Cons
If anything breaks, parts are expensive. I wish it had the feature where you can speak the name and the car will call that person. The plastics it's made with appears cheap. I wish it had heated leather seats. I wish it also had power seats instead of manual.
