2009 Toyota RAV4 - Reliable.
Very reliable car with more interior room than expected. Great gas mileage for an SUV. The full-size spare tire on the back is a huge plus as well, so if a tire goes out, you can replace it with another that's not small. My only complaint is that the interior materials feel somewhat cheap, but they hold up well over time.
Story
Going kayaking in the local river with some friends. Plenty of space to lay down rear seats and fit a small kayak.
Pros
Gas mileage. Interior space. Tinted windows. Sturdy ride. Storage space. Extra full-size tire.
Cons
Cheap feeling. Lots of road noise. Sound system. Front-wheel drive.
2014 Toyota RAV4 - Excellent Toyota Rav4
I love the quality of my Toyota Rav4. It's very reliable, and I have never been left stranded because of it. It always gets me from point A to point B. I love that it is all-wheel drive and goes great in all weather conditions such as snow and heavy rain. It's not bad for sliding when the roads are slick or wet during heavy rain or snow.
Story
I traveled in it during a snow storm of about 12 inches. It went great and never had issues. I never got stuck and never had any issues or felt uncomfortable in it.
Pros
I love that it is all-wheel drive, has a sunroof, and the gas mileage.
Cons
I don't like the lack of space, that there are no heated seats, and no automatic start.
