Going on road trips around the country. One particular time we drove from El Paso to Carlsbad. The car made the trip perfectly fine. It was about a two and a half hour trip. We went to visit Carlsbad Caverns first. Unfortunately, we started our trip too late. By the time we got to the caverns, they were already closed for the day. We decided to stay the night at a hotel and then in the morning we could go back to the caverns and actually see them. The next morning we woke up early and went to go get breakfast. We had breakfast at a local diner, but I can't remember the name of the place we went to. The breakfast was really good. After that we finally headed to the caverns. We spent a few minutes looking around the museum. The museum also had a gift shop. After that we bought our tickets to go into the caverns. We went down the caverns, I think it was about a mile and a half of a walk. It got darker the further down we went into the caverns, so we had to be careful and pay close attention to where we were walking. Finally, we got to the bottom. There were little stand to buy food or souvenirs. When we were going back up, we were pretty tired so we chose to take the elevators up. We bought a few things from the gift shop, and then we left. Our car survived a trip to a burger place, and then the two and a half hour home.

Whenever streets around here flood (very common and severe), my car gets me pretty much anywhere I need to go. Since it's just a bit taller than sedans, I can judge whether or not it's tall enough to go through some water.
