2016 Toyota RAV4 - Best vehicle I have ever owned.
I leased this vehicle because I was having a total knee replacement, and I felt it would be easier to get in and out of. I was correct. I have no problem with access to the vehicle, either as a passenger or driver. It is a solid vehicle, and I feel very safe when driving it.
Story
I am known at the drive thru of a local fast food restaurant, by a couple of the "window" employees. When I was going through the drive thru last week, one of those employees immediately noticed I had a different vehicle. He said that he liked it and that it was classy. That made me smile.
Pros
This vehicle turns on a dime, meaning that it has an excellent wheelbase. It makes U-turns easier than my previous vehicle, a Toyota Camry. It has a moon roof, which allows for fresh air circulation when the weather cooperates. The electronic console is a great feature. You have any information you need at your fingertips, including your trip mileage, your total vehicle mileage, mileage left before gas runs out, cell phone hook-up, and Sirius radio. Cons
The rear headrests block some vision out the rear window. They have to be moved to the down position to ensure good vision.
2013 Toyota RAV4 - Great, family functional car!
I bought my Rav 4 Toyota used about 3 years ago. I had owned a Toyota previous to this one but it was a Corolla. A Toyota seems to be a very dependable car for how well built they are or both of mine have been. I like my Rav 4 better because it is higher off the ground and the size is somewhat larger. I love the backup camera and also the remote controlled lift door for the cargo section. The cargo section is large enough to accommodate my numerous grocery bags and the automatic lift door is handy for this chore. It also has heated front seats that is especially nice in the winter. Sometimes I don't want to get out of the car because the heated seat feels so nice to my back. The gas mileage is also great and makes for fewer fill ups at the pump. Story
My daughter recently went with me on a trip. Since it was a cold day, I had on the heated seats. After a few minutes, my daughter said "my butt is getting warm".
Pros
The remote lift trunk door is fantastic.
Cons
I can think of no major negative things to say about the Rav 4.
