2015 Toyota RAV4 - Practical vehicle for college student on a budget
Overall, the vehicle is a great size, rides smoothly, gets good gas mileage and I get free services for the first two years of having the vehicle. The backup camera is helpful to have!
Story
One of the most memorable moments I had in this vehicle was when my boyfriend and I took it to a drive-in movie theater and opened up the back of the vehicle to watch the movie. Because this vehicle was my first SUV and I typically drive cars, having the ability to pop open the "trunk" of the vehicle and sit in the back, eating snacks while enjoying the movie was incredible.
Pros
One of my favorite aspects of the vehicle is its size. As a college student, the vehicle was large enough for me to pack things and transport them to and from college, but not too large to where it became overwhelming to drive as a young woman. The amount of miles per gallon the vehicle gets was also extremely appealing before purchasing it. I get great mileage on the highway and don't have to stop for gas nearly as much as I thought I would have. Some cons of the vehicle may include the price, for some individuals. However, the price was a pro for me, as I feel like I got a great deal on the vehicle.
2011 Toyota RAV4 - Best SUV
This is the second RAV 4 that I have purchased. The first vehicle was totaled, and my family survived with minimal injuries. After seeing first hand how safe this vehicle was, I knew right then this was the right vehicle for my family. My post precious cargo was my 10-month-old son, and he was unharmed.
Story
This is our family vehicle, so we take it on road trips or any regular occasion. It has been all along the east coast.
Pros
The roll cage is tough. The gas mileage is great. There is plenty of room for storage and a comfortable ride. The interior is tough. I am a mom of two boys so I clean it often and it has held up well. There is also a secret compartment in the trunk where I can store folding chairs for ballgames and my ice scraper in the off season. This SUV is clearly one of a kind.
Cons
I have only had a few minor problems. One was the door handle had broke, but it was plastic and was poorly constructed. I purchased a new part and had the handle switched out. Also wasnÕt covered on warranty either, which I thought was crazy.
