I absolutely love this vehicle. It is bigger than a car, but smaller than an SUV. But it has all the room of an SUV. I love the hidden compartment in the back area. It is great for extra storage or to hide things! The fact that you can put all the seats down is great for when I need to transport big items. I have never had any issues with my RAV4. As long as I get the oil changed in it, no issues. I have had to replace the battery once in the three years I have had it. And I did need new tires, but I do a lot of driving. The rack on top is great too for transporting our surfboards or luggage. We have taken the RAV on many road trips and I love that there is room in the backseat for three kids and our cooler. Story
We drove from Houston to san Antonio with three kids in the backseat. They had plenty of room and even laid the seats down to have more space. They loved it!
Pros
It is so roomy and I love the fact the back opens by a fifth door and not up like most vehicles.
Cons
No gps or screen in the car. No Bluetooth or rearview cameras

The car is very dependable. I have had no major issues since purchasing it over a year and a half ago. The car is attractive and has ample storage. There is a standard glove box, a smaller storage space above the glove box, and a two-part center console, which gives me tons of storage space. The car feels very roomy on the inside without being too bulky on the outside.
Story
While attending a friend's wedding, my car was the only one with enough seating for all of my friend. Thanks to the, admittedly small, third row of seating, we were all able to ride to our destination together!
Pros
I like the optional third row of seating. Although it isn't roomy, it will do in a pinch to get a few more people into the car. The seats in both the third and second row are all very easy to lower and raise. Easy adjustment makes it easier for me to do things like transport large items.
Cons
I do not like the hydroplane protection feature. When driving in rainy conditions, the car will slow itself down and take over for the driver. Every time this happens I feel unsafe. I would prefer to be in control of the vehicle when I am driving it. The placement of the hazard lights turn on is awkward. There is a place much closer to the driver where it could go, which would make more sense.
