I have never before reviewed a car, and I must say that this one is unlike and of the other vehicles I have been in. Its a smaller vehicle just right for a small person like me. It handles really well for it being a small SUV. I love the many new features that the previous owner purchased for the vehicle with its power windows, locks, cruise control, CD Player, great sounding radio, to the very well maintained air conditioning, to the well kept seats both in front and in the back. The car before it was mine looked like it just came off the lot, but when I saw it in person I was floored because it was a beautiful looking car for what the owner was selling it for, and I was happy that she was selling it in my price range. I don't think there is anything that I dislike about my car except... (more)
Story
This was a very memorable story of when I was first beginning to learn how to drive. For many years I haven't been able to find ways to learn how to drive, until one day I took this driving class from a local driving school, and I had fun because each one of my teachers was amazed at how well I could drive considering I didn't really have much practice on my own. There were quite a few times w... (more)
Pros
That it handles well, and starts well without much effort on my part, the wonderful sound system as well as the many feature the vehicles has.
Cons
The only negative thing about the vehicle is that its black and it gets hot inside, but that quickly changes once I put on the air.

2003 Toyota RAV4 - The RAV4 is the most reliable, safe and sturdy vehicle you can own for your family.

My Toyota RAV4 L is about the best and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. It is especially reliable during the cold winter months when there is a large accumulation of snow. I live in West Virginia and this type of vehicle comes in handy when others are stranded at home due to large amounts of snow. The 4 wheel drive component of the vehicle is outstanding. Just one click of a button allows you to select 4 wheel to 2 wheel drive. I currently have over 120,000 miles on the vehicle it is still going strong. Of course, regular oil changes and tune-ups are essential for any vehicle to last long but RAV4 have a reputation of lasting long. I have spoken to my mechanic and services another RAV4 that has approximately 300,000 miles on it and it is still going strong as well. The smoothne... (more)
Story
The best time I had using my vehicle is during the cold winter months when there is a lot of snow on the ground. This allows me to be the only one on the road feeling confident of getting through snow and ice that no one else could probably get through with a regular vehicle. I would compare my vehicle to a Land Rover in the snow and ice.
Pros
It is reliable during cold winter months using the 4 wheel drive component. It is also reliable because of the quality of the vehicle. I currently have around 120,000 miles and it is still going strong. The back compartment is easily accessible to store things. The back door swings open horizontally which allows you to open the door even in your garage compared to some garages a vertical opening door would rub against the ceiling. The RAV4 L is sporty and great looking. It takes turns like a sports car.
Cons
The pickup speed is a little sluggish at times during cold months.
