Toyota RAV4 EV Owner Ratings & Reviews

2014 Toyota RAV4 EV - I like it ok.
The car itself is good, but the service is terrible from Toyota. They really don't care about it and the people to own one. They just made them so that they can continue selling cars in California.
The car is great for electric range and for being affordable. Also, it is the only EV that is a SUV out. Other than that, the car feels generic.
Story
Going on a trip from California to Utah.
Pros
The EV range. Being a SUV which has lots of space.
Cons
Toyota being not caring about the car or the people who own one.
2010 Toyota RAV4 EV -
The Rav-4 XLE 2006 is an exceptional car in looks, comfort, safety and reliability. There are many features which I appreciate about this car. The interior is comfortable and attractive with its leather seating and heated front seats. The seats are easy to position with electronic controls and there is lumbar support which is a plus to me. The dashboard is well designed, easy to read and the radio is of good quality with great sound throughout the car. The cargo space is good for traveling and can easily accommodate my two Labrador retrievers. I like that the rear seats fold forward so that bigger objects can be accommodated. As an SUV, the passenger area sits higher than your average car and so there is good visibility. There have been few repairs required other than normal maintena... (more)
Story
This trip has been driven to Ikea twice when we were seeking furniture. The first time we purchased a sofa and despite the family optimism and the fact that the sofa came in boxes, we were disappointed to find that it could not fit in the car. On our second trip, we purchased a bed and mattress and pessimistically considered having Ikea deliver the products. We decided however to try packing t... (more)
Pros
I purchased this car when I was seeking a safe and reliable car for transporting my children to a school which was a good distance from our home. This drive had to be made in bad weather ( snowstorms ) for a 20 mile commute which included highway driving. I found the AWD feature with 4WD option was perfect for all the weather conditions I encountered. I also appreciated the V-6 engine entering highway traffic. The safety rating provided me with a secure feeling that if anything were to happen my passengers and I would be well protected.
Cons
Back seat could be a little more comfortable.
2018 Toyota RAV4 EV - Good car, good gas mileage, good ride
I like the 28 MPG while driving around town. I like stepping up in the vehicle - the good around view. The ride is very smooth either on back streets or on the highway. Love being up high (previous vehicle was a Honda Civic) so I can see around all the other SUVs out there. Really like the look of the RAV4 - it is grey and looks great. I always look at the reliability - and you get 5 stars with the RAV4. The $2,200 rebate sold us on buying the RAV - a hybrid for only 25k - nice.
Story
Driving for three weeks without filling up with gas. My commute is only 18 miles, but half of that is below 35 miles per hour.
Pros
Good gas mileage. Smooth ride. Adaptable cruise control. Five-star collision ratings - has lots of airbags. Lots of cargo space. Seats lay down to enable us to load bigger cargos. Lots of leg room - especially in back as I like to move the seat all the way back. The lights telling me whether I am driving good or bad - which has helped me not be such a lead foot. Ability to dial and talk with my synced Samsung Galaxy phone. All-wheel drives was very important - we live where it snows and we have a hill to climb. It performs that like a champ.
Cons
No lumbar support. Rear hatch won't open when the vehicle is running. When first starting and the battery is fully charged, the engine doesn't start right away.
