2005 Toyota Prius - We Will Buy Another One If This One Ever Gives Out...
We bought this as a "third" vehicle and it has become the primary. Living 30 miles out of town, it is such a commuter. It beats our Passat hands down. At 220K miles it is still going strong. We have had only minor maintenance and getting the work done by the dealership is surprisingly reasonable. In every possible way imaginable this car has been completely worth every penny we paid for it and then some. It is safe to boot, and can easily fit three carseats or three average build people in the back seat. We have taken this car places no one would ever imagine a Prius could go (think off grid communities in the back woods of Montana... literally). It is a trooper. We have three vehicles and it is a well spoken fact that when one of the other two gives out it will be replaced with anothe... (more)
Story
We were moving to Washington and somehow missed a sign for a "seasonal" road... we got stuck for the first and last time ever in this car. Called AAA and their person would not even come out on this road because it was so murky. Once night hit and the mud froze over, though, we got out just fine... but it was funny seeing the tow truck dude and the dispatcher in his SUV scared to go down a roa... (more)
Pros
Awesome mileage, smooth ride, safe and family friendly, reliable, holds its value over time, so much more.
Cons
This is a challenge- Okay, the stock stereo leaves something to be desired... Again, we live out of town. The signal on the radio is spotty in the hills. Also wish the ground clearance were a little more. We have taken this car out in the mountains and it has generally done great... but every so often in the spring there is a road with a bit too deep of cracks from the spring thaw... if they could keep everything else about this car but lift it to give like 8" clearance they would have made a midas car...
2016 Toyota Prius - Great gas mileage and great safety features
I really like my Prius. It gets great gas mileage, about 52 MPG. There are also many great safety features. Not only does it make driving more affordable, but it also makes me feel safer while driving. It is comfortable to ride in for long periods of time. I like the display. It has so many different options of things I can do. The Bluetooth connects seamlessly and I can set favorites. It also has the option to read my text messages to me. I have this feature turned off as I usually have other people in my car and don't always want my text messages read aloud. The voice commands are a great help for hands-free use of my phone or directions to places.
Story
Taking this car on its first road trip to a lake. It was a several hour drive and a great opportunity to break the car in.
Pros
It gets awesome gas mileage. I like the smart cruise control, lane assist, and Braking system. It has a good back-up camera. I love that I can track the price of gas that I buy and then use the trip feature to know how much I spent on gas for a trip. It is a great help when splitting the cost of gas with friends after a road trip. It has a good turning radius.
Cons
There is not much space in the trunk area.

Spokane, WA Dealer Ratings & Reviews

2008 Toyota Prius - Foothills Mazda Spokane
This dealership was where my girlfriend got her most recent vehicle. The employees were great and helped satisfy all of our needs in terms of finding a new car. They have a knowledge of cars that is superior to most dealerships in the area and are much more willing to work with you on payments than any other dealership.
2010 Toyota Prius - Larry H Miller Toyota Spokane
The staff was very professional and helpful. I did not feel pressured or rushed into a decision. I did not feel like they were using any shady tactics for the financing or pricing. Overall it was a great experience and I continue to take the car to them for maintenance.
