I really like the fact that it has been reliable for so long and that it gets great gas mileage. I'm a pretty normal guy and it still seems crazy to me that so many people are driving around with cars that are demonstrably less efficient and who have all sorts of crazy powerful engines that are used almost exclusively for sitting in traffic jams. Hope it was worth it!
Story
I participate in bike races, and a few years ago there was a big crash at a race I was doing. Everyone was worried about getting their unrideable bikes home, and we kept cramming extras in the surprisingly large folded down back seat of my Prius and everyone who crashed out got their bikes inside!
Pros
Surprisingly roomy interior. Great gas mileage that you can make even better with some well-researched and verifiable adjustments to your driving style. Inexpensive and reliable.
Cons
It's tough to convince yourself to upgrade when it delivers a performance that already exceeds your expectations by so much.

It was the first hybrid I owned and it was a great vehicle. The gas mileage was great and the leg room was fantastic for someone like me with long legs. The only thing I would say that was bad about it was that it didn't have the pep of a big engine car, but for commuting it was perfect.
Story
When I found out it would sync with my phone to play MP3s it was great. I didn't have to rely on the radio for music.
Pros
Great gas mileage, lots of leg room, and neat features that I hadn't seen before like keyless entry and start.
Cons
Not a huge amount of horsepower and it requires synthetic oil, so oil changes are a little expensive.
