2007 Toyota Prius - Over 200,000 miles and still going strong. Ugly work horse.
Over 200,000 miles and still going strong. Only battery gets worn out and buying refurbished batteries is a lot cheaper. It's the ugly work horse of cars that lasts and lasts as long as you do the minimum maintenance on it. No rattling or anything, quiet when running on batteries. I love hybrid cars, go anywhere for many miles and not have to depend on electric charging stations. Interior is a bit cramped in the passenger back seat, but storage is decent. Used car but reliable. The performance isn't great, but it's snappy. It's a reliable Toyota car to get you from point A to point B. It's not for showing off or thrill rides. I've saved hundreds if not thousands of dollars on gas. That money can be used on vacations and thrill rides instead. It is a practical car through and through. C... (more)
Story
I went on a 2000 mile road trip with my Prius to national and state parks with dog and slept it in somewhat comfortably.
Pros
My favorite feature is the mileage and saving money on gas. That is the main and probably only reason anybody drives this car. The thousands of dollars you save over many years is worth it. Why drive a stylish car when it's just for going to work or errands? This car will get that done easily and is perfect for road trips and carrying your stuff.
Cons
It's ugly. And there's like a negative hate rod on the car from people. The stigma against Prius is strong.
2008 Toyota Prius - An amazing and economic vehicle!
This vehicle has a cool exterior look. Has a decent amount of space for its size. Pretty roomy for average sized passengers. It's at almost 75,000 miles but still running strong and has needed no major work. All I've had so far are oil changes. Its great on gas since its a hybrid vehicle! Great for commuting to and from work each day. Cool family car for road trips since it's a hatchback as well.
Story
I was driving and a random woman yells "nice Prius". She did the twice in the same day as I drove by!
Pros
Definitely a gas saver! I fill up for about $25 and get a total of 400+ miles hwy and city combined.
The sound system is good enough for me. I don't like my music super loud!
It's fun seeing how much gas you're saving on the screen monitor. Fun to look at !
Key-less entry is very convenient! My car key never leaves my pocket
Low maintenance. At 75k miles still running strong with no major repairs needed!
Cons
It rattles under the hood when car switches to and from electric and gas power
Not much power since it's a hybrid. Doesn't accelerate very quickly
The aux plug is in an awkward place. Hard to get to while driving
Sometimes the gas gauge is inaccurate. Decreases to fast or too slow. Not always consistent

2010 Toyota Yaris - Toyota 101 Redwood City
The sales guy was very patient with our queries.
He let us test drive quite a number of cars till we found the car we wanted.
Even though it was past closing hours, he was still letting us test drive the cars.
He was not pushy about closing a deal.
He really did his best to show us the cars that were within our budget instead of pushing us to get a more expensive car.
2007 Toyota Prius - City Toyota Daly City
The employees were very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions. Whenever I have to get my car serviced, they provide a nice waiting area complete with internet, food, coffee, and a small cafe. These amenities and the ease of communication with the employees make it easy to keep my car in good shape.
