I have about 45,000 miles on my Prius so it has a lot of life left for its age. I like that it saves me money on gas. I like that it has a spacious interior. I love the dashboard setup. Having the main dash items sitting up high means my eyes have only to look down slightly for information. Performance is good -- especially since there is a power button for going up hills, and needing to do a fast start. (This requires going into gas mode, but still a good feature.) What I don't like about it is the driver's field of view can be somewhat awkward. Also the ride is not super smooth when on bad roads -- and the roads these days seem to be getting worse.
Story
Where I live, a large percentage of the population drives a Prius. Some people have decorated theirs in quite funny ways -- somewhat like the way people used to do with the VW Bug way back when. I haven't partaken in this practice myself, but it does bring a smile to my face when I see the various bow-ties, flowers, magnetic stickers, and other cosplay attire that people display on theirs.
Pros
The Eco feature. If I'm stuck in traffic I know I'm not guzzling gas. For a small car, the interior is very spacious. I also like the sound system a lot. Driver's seat is very comfortable, so that's great. I have also sampled the back seat when another person drives, and it's comfy as well. Trunk is spacious. All in all it's a very efficient car.
Cons
My biggest dislike is the field of view from a driver's perspective. It took me quite a while to get used to that change. I am used to it now, but I am a cautious driver so am not inclined to relax about it. Always be alert is my driving motto.

The primary focus of all Prius purchases have to do with the great gas mileage it gets. The Prius is more than that. Having put many city and highway miles, I can say that it is very comfortable for a compact vehicle. The technology component with the Toyota Entune app allowed for a very fun drive. Each of the buttons made switching from radio and music to apps and travel maps very easy. The size of the trunk is amazing with the different hidden compartments and split back seat. There is more than enough room for baggage and the addition of souvenirs on the way. We have had a great experience with the Toyota mechanics and keeping the systems all updated.
Story
The Prius is a cool beach vehicle. It is affordable and easily fits enough materials for quick beach getaways. This car has made it possible to spend more time at the beach and more time with family.
Pros
The coolest element is that when traveling during the summer, there is an A/C button on the FOB. When away from the vehicle and the vehicle gets hot, it just takes the press of the button to activate the AC ventilation. The ventilation will then run until the doors are opened, thus providing a cooler environment to proceed in. Another cool part is the door handles. With a quick touch of the two slots, the door will automatically lock. So in essence, there is no need to ever use a key or take the FOB out of your pocket or purse.
Cons
With the push button start some people can develop bad habits. When stopped and in park, the vehicle can automatically shut down. With no obvious engine noise, there has been several occasions that I have walked away from the Prius without turning the engine off, and that can be a dangerous affair. Another con for the Prius is the blind spots. One needs to become acclimated to the significant blind spots created by the angle of the back hatch.
