2010 Toyota Prius - A reliable car with great gas mileage
The car overall gets great gas mileage and is very comfortable. I have driven it for a ten thousand miles and is currently at around 110k miles and have not noticed anything bad about it. There is no rattling or unexpected noises coming from the car and have yet to have to take it to a mechanic.
Story
Driving with my girlfriend around town and on small trips to the park are great and fun.
Pros
The gas mileage is the best thing about the Prius with me averaging 47 mpg. The interior can hold four to five people comfortably and still has a lot of space in the back trunk for extra things. The auto air conditioning works really well, and when it is cold out, it will not start blowing hot air till it is capable of it. Compared to my previous car, the headlights are very bright. The key fob is a good thing about the car, where when I walk up to the car and touch the handle, it unlocks. When I walk away from the car after touching the handle, it locks it so I never have to take my keys ... (more)
Cons
Something that I don't like about it is that when the driver's lights or headlights are on, the dash is considerably dimmer. So when it is bright outside but is also raining, it can be difficult to easily read what the dash is saying. Something that I have noticed is the perceptions about the car from other drivers as they will cut me off more or turn in front of me to where I have to break else I would hit them. Also, I have noticed that large trucks try to pass me often given the opportunity even when going a few mph above the limit.
