2010 Toyota Prius - I love my Prius!
Toyota has always been a great, reliable brand of vehicle for me. I've never had problems with any of the ones I've owned now or in the past.
Story
My friend and I both own a Prius, and we compete with each other for who can get the best gas mileage!
Pros
The Prius is a great value for the price. Lots of nice features. Toyotas have always been reliable in my experience. Fantastic gas mileage! Spacious inside, more than you would have thought for the size. Quiet ride.
Cons
Everything on my Prius is pretty much automatic except for the headlights, which are operated manually. A light comes on the dash display that shows the headlights are turned on, but there is no reminder sound if you turn it off and leave the lights on. When the hybrid engine is running on battery, the car is so quiet that I have almost hit pedestrians that weren't aware I was near them in a parking lot. The transmission is automatic, but the shifter isn't intuitive. You have to push a button to put it in park. I've almost hit other cars because I forgot to push it, and then took my foot o... (more)

2015 Toyota Prius - Springhill Toyota Mobile
They were actually willing to negotiate purchase price! I've dealt with two other Toyota Dealerships in the last 10 years and in the other two cases, the salesman only wanted to talk monthly terms and monthly payment. This is not a good way to go about buying a car. You never will really understand what you're paying if you're only looking for a monthly cost. I found the car I wanted online and gave them a price. Ten minutes later, I received a call and we set the deal. I had already secured my own financing so I was in and out of the dealership in 10 minutes. No haggling, no pressure. Best car buying experience of my life!
