The Prius is an excellent choice for the eco-conscious driver and/or the commuter who values a good gas mileage. My husband and I have had our Prius for about 6 years, and it runs really well. It's nice that it's not completely electric because we never have to worry about plugging in, or finding places where we need anything special.
Story
My husband slept in the back of the Prius near the beach many times while visiting me during college (when he couldn't sleep in my dorm).
Pros
My favorite features are the great gas mileage, the roomy nature of the interior, and the fold-down feature of the back seat. We love taking it on long road trips because we get more than 40 miles to the gallon. The interior is very roomy for a fairly small car. There is plenty of leg and head space, especially for the front seats, and the back sits two very comfortably, or three if needed. 3. The back seat folds down completely flat, which can even be used as a sleeping surface (when the car is parked). It is great for transporting stuff (the back/trunk can fit far more than you'd expect).
Cons
We have had some issues with the computer components of the vehicle. We have had to replace the computer (screen and mechanisms) twice now because of failure. These parts can be fairly expensive. Also, if you have to replace the battery, that is also very expensive because of the hybrid nature of the car.

2015 Toyota Prius - $20 a full tank!

Me and my husband wouldn't be more satisfied having to pay only around $20 for a full tank for this car. Driving going from San Jose, CA to Los Angeles only costs us $30 one way. The inside of the car is spacious enough. We actually use this car (instead of our MB sedan) when we think we need more space to use. The drive is smooth, the engine is quiet and it goes fast as well.
Story
This is our go to car for long distance drive. This car was able to drive around the steep roads of Yosemite Valley and Tahoe, CA. It did well around the rough roads of Bodie, CA and does well during our long drives from the Bay Area to Los Angeles.
Pros
Minimal cost for gas. Good trunk space considering the car is on the compact side. Keyless Sensitive alarm for seat belt (it alarms right away if your seat belt is not on) It's not fully electric so no charging needed (I think having to charge is a nuisance) It has a rear view camera- the best for backing up!!!
Cons
The seat covers can get dirty easily. It's hard to see the front side of the car when parking facing a wall. The stirring wheel, I think is too thin. The alarm, although a good way to be sensitive - is way too sensitive. The back seat is way too upright- it's almost 90 degrees straight. It would help if it's slightly reclined.
