2011 Toyota Prius - Not the best long-term investment
I enjoyed this car upon first purchasing it. I could get 50 miles per gallon, which saved me time, gas and money as a college student. The Prius is very spacious also, great for traveling or moving from dorm to dorm. However, when the car started to have issues, I really realized what I'd gotten myself into. A Prius is just like a computer, and it truly confusing to diagnose and repair. For example, the car has two batteries. And one of them is in the trunk. No kidding.
Story
This vehicle got me from Houston, Texas to Dallas, Texas for $10 roundtrip! That's a 400-mile drive, 800 miles roundtrip. The best thing about the Prius is fuel economy.
Pros
My favorite thing about the Prius was gas mileage. You can not beat 50 miles per gallon, especially if gas is under $2 a gallon. The Prius was great for long- and short-distance travel. Great A/C functionality, and the car's battery (hybrid battery, there's two different batteries) is easy to recharge also. All it takes is for a 20-30 minute cruise to give your hybrid power again. I love the interactive display that shows battery usage and gas consumption while driving.
Cons
The main con of having a Prius is vehicle repair. God forbid something happens to your Prius—it can be a nightmare. The car has a standard battery and a car battery. The standard battery is in the trunk and is so difficult to get to. The hybrid battery costs about $10,000 to replace, and that's the quote for a used one. However, hybrid batteries last up to 15 years. So be mindful of the year of your Prius.
2007 Toyota Prius - Solid car
I am continuously blown away at how great this car is, even at approximately 125,000 miles. It is incredibly spacious, smooth, and fuel efficient while maintaining a sleek exterior. I would absolutely purchase another Prius in the future because of my experiences with this vehicle. I host a trivia show, and it perfectly holds all of my audio equipment, including large bulky speakers and stands with plenty of room to spare, which is very convenient and nice to have. I love how fuel efficient it is. I went from driving a large truck to the Prius, and the money I have saved is easily in the thousands. I recommend the Prius to anyone looking for a vehicle.
Story
This vehicle is surprisingly great for sleeping in while camping. You can lay the seats down, and if you lay your head down at the opposite end of the vehicle, you will have a nice moon roof while you sleep and enjoy nature. I have done this a few times and highly recommend it. I am over six feet tall and still slept very comfortably.
Pros
I love how spacious, fuel efficient, and smooth the Prius drives. My favorite features include the leather interior, the hatchback space, and the rear camera. I also love the way that the batteries charge when the wheels are rotating through kinetic energy and being able to watch that happen in real time on the navigation screen.
Cons
A few negatives I have had are that the navigation screen has sometimes bugged out a bit, and the cost to update or even fix the system is quite expensive for what it is in my opinion. In addition, the batteries are very expensive to replace and could end up being too pricey if they ever die.

Laredo, TX Dealer Ratings & Reviews

2014 Toyota Prius - Toyota Of Laredo
This dealership had a wonderful sales manager who took the time to meet with my family and I to help us purchase the right car. We had issues before with child car seats not fitting safely in the vehicle we had, and he pointed us to our awesome new car. We love it, and feel that the cost was worth our children's safety.
2002 Toyota Camry - Toyota Of Pharr
The prices were low, much lower than MSRP. I was also given a rebate.
