Well this car which is a hybrid gets unbelievable gas mileage - over 50 miles per gallon in the city - plus we have never had any problems with the car and via Toyota for just about the first 2 years, the cost of preventive maintenance has been free. The cars drives well and it comes with all the modern conveniences such as a great radio and speakers. We are able to connect our cell phone to the car to speak to people via the internal car systems. In essence, if you need a small car to get around this is the car you want to have. It might be a bit expensive but it will last you for a vey long time. We rate it totally at the top.
Pros
The gas mileage is fantastic, we hardly spend any money on gas even though gas prices are still a bit high. The sound system with the radio is great as well as listening to CDs or music from our cell phone or mp3 player. It is amazing to be able to speak out loud and hear the other person through the car. I can also play the sound of baseball games via my phone in the car. That everything is digital, speed, how many miles you got on your last trip, how to control the features of the car digitally. Really this car has everything you need. Finally you don't need a key to open the car or... (more)
Cons
The only negative aspect of the car, is it so advance, it took time to re-learn how to work with the car with all its electronics - like the idea the door opens automatically when you are near the drivers door because you have the automatic door key in your pocket. What could be the only other negative is if the car's electronics got disrupted then you could use your car at all.

I have never before had a hybrid car - so this was a new experience and it take some getting use to, as the car works a little bit differently in that basically everything is electronic including having a key to open the doors and for the car to start by the press of a button. But it gets great gas mileage which every person needs these days with the high price of gas and the car rides very smoothly. When we went to the car dealer and looked at the car from the outside it looks to be very small as it is a compact but when you are inside it has all the room you need for comfortable sitting and plenty of room in the hatchback trunk to store items. I also like that it has blue tooth for our phone so that we can make calls in the car and speak and hear via the internal speakers. Plus the ... (more)
Pros
This car gets the best gas mileage of any car we know - like 54 locally due to its charging the battery while it stops and I think around 45 or so on the highway the security is the electronic key you need to open the door and the car won't start when you push the start button unless you have the key the blue tooth system to connect our phone is great, to hear the person and speak to them via the internal microphone and speakers a great sound system built into the car for music or audio or radio a small size for easy parking
Cons
It took a while to get use to have to open the car with the electronic key - if you have the electronic key near the door - the door always open even if you don't hit on this key the button to open the door the divider on the back window which is the hatch is a distraction to look at through your rear view mirror and takes some getting use to it would be nice if the car had a bit more acceleration to it the front part of the car, the bumper sticks out too much and its hard to see when you are closer to the cement block to part and can be damaged
