Toyota Prius Owner Ratings & Reviews

2010 Toyota Prius - Not as comfortable as previous 2005.
The engineering inside is not comfortable. The middle console makes it impossible to get across the seats in case one needs to do so. The seats are very uncomfortable for long road trips and my back hurts after just a full day of driving. This is unlike other vehicles I have driven or owned. Even though the main battery seems to be working well I often get warning lights telling me it is getting low and this makes me nervous but then it goes away. Nevertheless, I just feel like one of these times it will give out. Finally the upholstery has cracked on the driver's seat! It should not have done this. I don't live in a harsh climate and have not subject it to harsh conditions - I am not obese, I do not jump in the seat. It should be perfect.
Story
I had my granddaughter in the back seat and she made a mess. I don't get to see my grandkids much so I have left her mess in there for almost two years now.
Pros
Gas mileage and reliability were important to me. And it has had OK gas mileage - not nearly what it said on the sticker, but really better than most other vehicles. And it has been reliable but I have also kept up with regular maintenance.
Cons
Poor internal design - very uncomfortable and unaccommodating with a MUCH wasted space in the front seat. Also upholstery has cracked.
2016 Toyota Prius - Green car with plenty of options.
I have only owned 3 cars in my life, but this car is by far my favorite. Although Prius' are kind of goofed on, I absolutely love this car. There is plenty of pickup and you can change the settings to "ECO", "Normal" or "Power" mode. I like the navigation and the ability to sync my phone with my contacts and iPhone. The seats are very comfortable and there is plenty of room. My husband is 6'5" and he fits fine in the car. We have a car seat in the back and there is still plenty of room for groceries and a stroller. The MPG is great. Way better than any car I've driven. All the features on the display are great too. Toyota offers a great incentive for their cars with the @%k/ 2 year maintenance package. I don't drive much, but it is still convenient to have that whenever I need it
Story
People think this car can't go fast, but it definitely has some good pickup!
Pros
I love the navigation and display. The SofTex is comfortable. Qi wireless charging for new phone is great! Roomy although small. Amazing mpg. Fuel efficient. Back up camera works well. Toyota has great warranties.
Cons
Camera options aren't the best. The phone loses syncing ability which is bizarre. I really wish there were more safety features like blind spot monitoring.
