2010 Toyota Prius - Green, efficient, reliable.
I absolutely love my Toyota Prius. I have had it since 2014 and consider it a great investment decision. It has saved me so much money on gasoline, and I never have to worry about it breaking down on me. I can easily go two weeks without refilling the gas tank. The Prius is a car that I trust. My next car will most likely be a newer Prius. I like it that much.
Story
I took a trip with my family to Nebraska from Oklahoma to see the solar eclipse and didn't break the bank on gas.
Pros
The fuel efficiency of the Prius is unmatched. This saves a lot of money at the pump. Getting the car certified pre-owned have me peace of mind knowing that if something went wrong that I would be taken care of. Knowing that my car produces low emissions makes me feel good about my decision. Upkeep is really easy. All I do is get my oil changed. Beyond routine recalls, I have never had a reason to get my car repaired. The runs quiet and inside sounds inside and outside sounds outside.
Cons
The Prius is somewhat pricey. When repairs are necessary, they are very costly. A broken headlight can easily cost six hundred dollars! Living in Oklahoma, it is somewhat annoying that a lot of country folk stereotype me and judge me based on my car and hassle me about it.
2014 Toyota Prius - Love this car!!!
I opted for the Prius after driving a gas-guzzler for quite awhile. Above anything else, I love the gas mileage. Most days driving around town I get approximately 40-45 MPG. I was used to getting 12-16MPG. Being a hybrid, I love how quiet it is. It is a smaller vehicle, but I'm able to fit 3 children's car seats in the back. I love the design of the inside. It's very modern looking. Everyone is pleasantly surprised when they get into my car how cool it looks. They're also very surprised by how roomy it is.
Story
Driving it on road trips. Love the gas mileage.
Pros
Gas mileage is amazing. It's extremely roomy. The sound system is awesome as well as the navigation system.
Cons
I don't like the cloth seats, and in hind sight, I should have gotten the leather package. I don't like that I have the next to the highest package, and I don't have more features in the vehicle. I.E. Sunroof, leather seating, nicer speakers, etc.
