2010 Toyota Prius - Zippy and earth friendly
When looking for a used car, I could never have guessed that I would be able to find a hybrid in great condition on our small budget. We were very lucky to find a seven-year-old Prius for under $7,000 with very little wear and tear and no major issues. Fuel economy was a big concern for us. We don't drive much, but we don't want to be driving a gas guzzler when we do.
Story
Having someone ask me if the car was on when I was driving it or if it was just cruising.
Pros
Amazing mpg on both highway and city. Extremely roomy, particularly in the cargo area. Hidden storage in cargo area. Dash layout is intuitive and easy to read. Great sound system.
Cons
Upgraded radio will be needed since we need aux ports for charging phones. Was missing a few accessories, but nothing major.
2007 Toyota Prius - Prius Review
The Prius is an excellent car. It has given me no problems and it has 110,000 miles on it. It has better gas mileage than anyone else's car that I know of. It looks nice and it surprises people with how large it is inside. People used to think eco-friendly cars were small but now they do not once they ride in my car. The trunk opens so large that I have been able to fit furniture in it while moving a number of times.
Story
I have moved several times and been able to fit entire pieces of furniture in the car!
Pros
The gas mileage is the best aspect of this car. Another great aspect is the keyless entry, and that you just press a button to turn on the car rather than have to turn a key.
Cons
The car still gets dented when run into.
