I absolutely love my Prius. It's an upgrade from a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, the worst car ever made. The difference between the Cobalt and the Prius is night and day. This car is reliable, has no "quirky" malfunctions, and is a tremendous value for the price. I'm excited to drive my car now, and I'm choosing to drive instead of fly thanks to the cost savings.
Story
My wife and I are a lesbian couple, and when we tell someone we bought a Prius, they say, "Oh, you're such lesbians." The Prius seems to be the new Subaru.
Pros
It drives just like you'd expect a compact car to drive -- only it gets awesome gas mileage. The cabin feels roomier than other compacts, but the design is better than most. The 2013 includes Bluetooth synching for music and handsfree calling, in addition to USB and auxiliary ports. These features have worked flawlessly. Seats fold flat so you can get the maximum amount of stuff into the hatchback. Also, it's fun to drive when you work to maximize the gas mileage.
Cons
It's a little different from a traditional car. Be sure to ask about oil changes and how to jump the car if the battery dies. My biggest complaint is that the low beams shine very low. Visibility, especially on quick up-and-down hills, is less than ideal.

The Prius is a great car for long and short trips. I like being able to get 50+ MPG and stopping at gas stations less than conventional cars. At almost 90k miles, very little has been done to the car. I've done an oil change every 10k miles and at 80k replaced the brakes. Everything seems to be doing well. At a little over $20,000, it's a good deal.
Story
I use the MPG as a game to see how high I can get it. I will try different ways of driving to see what I can do to get it high.
Pros
I like the dashboard layout and the steering wheel. There's lots of info that is mostly useful. The trunk is spacious enough and fits four people pretty well.
Cons
The A/C buttons have become stuck, and there's not on switch for it, so you have to hit fan up several times. The center console takes up a lot of space and feels like a wall. I can't see out of the side when it rains and looking out of the back is useless. Styling is dated.

Two main things: firstly, they were efficient, I was able to buy the car in less than a week! Secondly, the amount of discounts they were able to give us was staggering; for example, they gave us 1000 off because my wife had graduated from a local university and had received a masters in social work.
