The one word that describes this car is reliable. After 150,000 miles, other than basic maintenance, this car has never been in the shop. It has performed every task I've required it to do. This car has been one the best investments I have made. This car has done everything I asked it to do and continues to surprise me with what it is capable of.
Story
After a huge snow storm a couple of years ago, while many AWD cars in my neighborhood were stuck, my Prius didn't get stuck once. The car felt stable and sure, while other cars seems to struggle stay on the road.
Pros
Being a hybrid, the gas mileage has been great. The quality of the build has been amazing. After 150,000 miles, there has been no noticeable shakes, rattles, or creeks. There is ample room for passengers both up front and rear seats . All the controls are well placed and easy to access. The ride is quite and smooth. There is a shocking amount of space for cargo. The car does surprisingly well in snow and wintry weather.
Cons
It isn't the best looking car out there. There isn't a ton of power in the drivetrain. Acceleration can be laggy and underwhelming. Because everything is so compact, general access to components for general maintenance can be difficult. Replacement parts for everyday items like headlight lamps are pricey, because the car requires special types. The cost to replace the hybrid battery pack can easily wipe out the savings you may have gained from gas efficiency.

I bought this Toyota Prius as a used car. Since I bought it when it was almost three years old, I got a very good deal. This car has the best fuel efficiency of all the cars I have ever owned. Even when the gas price price was sky-rocketing, my wallet did not feel the pain at a gas station. The car has the perfect size in a busy city. Because it is relatively small, it is so much easier to park this car in one of those tight city curb side parking spots. Given this car's exterior size, the interior space is very impressive. Most people will seat comfortably in it. Also, it has a pretty spacious cargo area. We have no problem putting two suitcases in the trunk. It is very fun and easy to drive this car. Story
When I just got this car, one day I could not start it at a parking lot. After checking the instruction, I found I had to step on the brake while starting the car. I was glad I wan not in a hurry that day.
Pros
Fuel efficiency, compact size, spacious interior, easy to handle.
Cons
Not powerful enough at times.
