2006 Toyota Prius v - Fun to drive, great gas mileage
I love the Prius because it gets great gas mileage, which is a really important factor to me. In addition, it is a fun car to drive, being really easily maneuverable and with good acceleration. The cost of maintenance is really low as well. However, it does not perform perfectly in winter weather.
Pros
Definitely the gas mileage is the best part about this car. It's easy to get 40-50 mpg which sets it apart from most other cars. Since it is a pretty affordable car right now, the money I'm saving on gas is making up the difference in the price of this car compared to others. It is also really fun to use the energy consumption and screen showing where the energy used to operate the car is coming from.
Cons
The major negative to this car is that it does not perform very well in winter weather. As long as the roads are clear it's fine, but when there is any perspiration on the roads it tends to slide or loose traction. However, as long as you drive carefully, it is not too much of an issue. The other downside is that using the heater/air conditioner hurts the cars gas mileage.
