2016 Toyota Prius v Owner Ratings & Reviews

2016 Toyota Prius v - A great reliable car
My Prius v was a very reliable car. It was up to good quality and saved so much money on gas without having to plug it in anywhere since I did not have many places to do this. At the same time, it is not a very fast or powerful car and doesn't look great. Overall though, I really enjoyed the Prius v and think it's worth it for anyone looking for good storage, a lot of miles and a comfy drive.
Story
One memorable story with the Prius is that I went to Vegas and was on the way back. I realized and forgot that my gas was low when I got back to my car on the return trip. I looked back at the fuel gauge and oddly enough, I saw that the fuel had 'increased'. I realized this was due to the awesome battery and was able to get back home without having to get gas.
Pros
My favorite features of the vehicle included the great fuel mileage. I saved so much money on gas. I would also say the Prius v also has a ton of storage space, much more than its siblings. You can store a lot in the back and the interior feels super roomy. It is a mostly quiet car that you can play with in terms of how much fuel you want it to use thanks to the 'gamification' element with the fuel.
Cons
I did not like the cup holders. There is one in the middle that isn't very big, and the side/back ones are also fairly small. It is not a good looking car. It has a distinct shape but will definitely not win any sexy awards. It is not a powerful car. Expect slower speeds and tougher times going up hills.
2016 Toyota Prius v - Amazing car, great MPG.
I adore my Prius V. It is roomy, is a smooth ride, and handles really well. I previously had the Prius C, which is the economy, small version, and I can confidently say the Prius V is much roomier, but the extra weight does knock the MPG down a little. I thought about just getting the regular Prius, but the V's extra room sold me on the purchase. I am not an SUV driver, so this care will be the closest I get to driving one. The seats are comfy, and the backseats also recline and can slide forward or backwards as well, which is great for passengers as well! The car is still pretty new, so I've not had any issues out of it to note. The MPG is what you'd expect from a hybrid vehicle. I don't think I could go back to a car that is not a hybrid. The car does also have three "modes", one is ... (more)
Story
Our 1 year old loves riding and usually chatters while we ride around town doing mundane chores.
Pros
This car has plenty of space in the back hatch. It also has a trunk cover so you can maintain some degree of privacy of what you have in the back hatch. The car's MPG is great and filling up doesn't hurt your bank account too much. The backseat is very roomy and three people can sit comfortably.
Cons
The car does have a lot of bells and whistles. Particularly the radio system and the navigation. It is a bit much at first, and definitely not something you'd want to try to learn while driving. It has a touch screen, so trying to find a station while driving maybe isn't the safest, and the navigation system is useful, but perhaps not as accurate as using Google maps on your phone.
