2013 Toyota Prius v Owner Ratings & Reviews

2013 Toyota Prius v -
This is a really great car for anyone who lives in the city. The hybrid portion of the vehicle really helps to save gas. My husband and I take it to work 20 minutes away from our home five times a week and only fill the tank once a week, and it's a small tank so it gets great mileage. It is a great family car, there is plenty of room to fit our child and a couple guests in the car and everyone fits in the back comfortably. We've had someone over 6' sitting in the back and he had plenty of leg room, as did the person sitting in front of him.
Story
Playing Pokémon Go with my husband, when we are driving down the road I told my husband to make a U-turn because we had just passed a Dragonite.
Pros
The space, the entire hatchback is extremely roomy. In the front you have plenty of room to feel very comfortable. The back is comfortable for children and adults. The trunk space can hold plenty of groceries, with packages and a stroller in it at the same time. The mileage is amazing when in a city. During peak traffic hours the electric part of the engine kicks in and we can sit there without wasting gas.
Cons
The back seat belts can get a bit messed up in the back for adults. They seem to be made more for children, we had issues using one side it would get locked up easily where a 6' adult man, who is fit, was sitting. The car has some issues making sharp turns, it needs a little more room.
2013 Toyota Prius v - Amazing
I purchased my Prius V after a year of researching. The first thing that impressed me about the car was the amount of storage/cargo space in the back of the car. It fits so much! I read one review that said with the back seats down, it can hold 96 grocery bags. Once I owned the car, I noticed a number of things. The first thing I noticed was the amazing gas millage. I can typically get about 45 miles per gallon. There is also plenty of space in both the front seats and back seats, which makes it very easy for my two children. The car also has good visibility and a nice stereo system. There are two things I do not really enjoy about the car. The first is the remote starter. I find that even when I use the remote starter, with the goal of warming up the car during the winter before getti... (more)
Story
For me, the most important feature of this car is how quiet it is. I have very sensitive ears, so to drive a car that is extremely quiet is absolutely amazing.
Pros
Here are the top things from my point of view: gas mileage, trunk space, seat space, and the quiet nature of the car.
Cons
The sun visors are too short. The remote starter does not always work well.
