This is a great family vehicle and the best choice for families with one car. For those in urban areas, and in California, the car qualifies for an HOV sticker, which gets you in the car pool lane with one person. The car is roomy inside. We can fit our baby in a car seat with three dogs. In our first year of ownership, we haven't had any problems. I also likes that we got 0% financing on our car loan.
Story
The first time I went in the carpool lane alone. I cut 30 minutes off the expected commute time that Google maps was giving me.
Pros
The best things about the car are that it gets you in the carpool lane with one person in the car. This saves commuting time. The gas mileage is also excellent. It also has comfortable seats, Bluetooth, and cruise control. The seats have the latch system that makes it easy to install car seats. I also feel safe driving in the car with my baby.
Cons
The car only comes in a limited number of colors. There was no option for a sun roof. The design isn't the most interesting. I did not like how it comes with the GPS/maps program. The Toyota maps program is terrible. It is much better to use Google maps. We never use this feature of the car. The car is also a little bigger, so it can be difficult to find parking when parking is a challenge. It's not a compact car.
