This is a great car with lots of seating and/or cargo capacity. It is rugged and built to last. It has been driven over 200K miles and is still going strong with no knocking or rattling. This is a great car for any place with snow and ice or other conditions, which may need more power and stability. Car seats up to seven, which includes to 'jumper' seats in the cargo area of the back, which can be folded up or removed if you want more cargo space. It has windshield wipers in the front and back as well as a controllable heater in the back to keep passengers more comfortable. My only complaint about the car is that it is an old girl and, as such, she is a gas guzzler which can get rather expensive. She gets about 10 miles to the gallon. But we have had no issues in the winter here in Ala... (more)
Story
She handled an icy steep driveway with no problem at all! Wish we had this vehicle back when we almost died coming off a mountain in the dark during fog conditions with no safety railing! We wouldn't have had any problem what so ever!
Pros
Seats up to seven, built to last, built like a tank, rugged, 4WD, cargo rack, separate heat for back seat, sun/moon roof, lots of cargo space, additional headlights, windshield wiper in front and back, power windows and adjustable antenna.
Cons
Gas guzzler - 10 MPG

I always wanted a 4x4 vehicle to make trips with my family and friends to deep-in nature places. I always heard that Toyota was one of the best brands for this purpose. It exceeded my expectations. I bought the vehicle and loved it so much that I used it for my every day commuting. It was a bit expensive on gas but the whole feeling was exceptional. I lifted the vehicle a bit and put in mud tires, and I felt as if I owned the streets. The power and torque it has is unbelievable. The best came when I made the first trip to a park, a friend of mine knew where we could go up some steep hills and go through muddy terrains. The experience was fun for the whole family, and the vehicle came back to the city as if nothing had happened. It is a monster and very reliable.
Story
On one trip we did with the family, we went to this beach and we could go a bit into the sand with the cars. It was pouring rain and everything became super muddy. A friend of ours started trying to go through an area that looked very difficult to go through. He got stuck, and it basically seemed impossible to get him out of there. He had a winch but we had to attach it to an extra chain and t... (more)
Pros
I love how it is a tough vehicle and very secure. I like the fact that it has incredible power and torque. I also like that the whole family fits comfortably. We are four, but I mean it is comfortable compared to other cars we've tried. I also love the fact that it has simple mechanics and can be fixed very easily, even though it is so reliable that you probably won't need to do anything to the car for a long period of time.
Cons
It is a bit stiff. When driving long distances, it can sometimes be a bit tough on the lower back.

We bought this vehicle six years ago when it had 200,000 miles on it, and it is still running great. It was kept in good condition when we got it, and there has only been more minimal wear and tear. It is perfect for a big family but also narrow enough to fit into parking stalls. The parts on it are easy to find, if you need to repair it. There is minimal technology, so if it needs repairs, you don't have to worry about the electronics on it. We have used this vehicle in road trips, off roading, and daily driving. We have been rough on this vehicle, and it always stands up to the test. We are going to buy another vehicle just like it when it fails on us.
Story
We have used this to go on a road tip to Yellowstone. It was a great trip, and we were able to fit everything we needed in it.
Pros
I really like the leather seats interior. They are comfortable and easy to clean up spills. The length is perfect. There are three rows and extra space in the back. My favorite feature is the tail gate. It is perfect to have kids sit up there. It is a good off roading vehicle. We have never gotten stuck before. It has a powerful engine, so it can get up to speed easily.
Cons
It is big, so driving can be more difficult than smaller cars. There is not a lot of electronics, like back-up screens or DVD players.
