I have had my Toyota Limited Highlander for over 10 years now and still love it! It has been extremely reliable needing only routine maintenance which is easy and affordable. Being in Los Angeles I drive a lot and it still gets good gas mileage, has taken my family on numerous trips up and down the state of California and beyond with plenty of comfortable room for all of us and our luggage.
Story
In addition to hauling around family and kids I love home improvements and went to my Home Depot for some paver stones. They were heavy and I had a kid in the car an my mother-in-law. They said delivery would be a couple of days and I wanted them right away for a project. No problem, I folded the half seat down and they loaded them right in off the pallet. Pros
I opted for the Limited to get all features I needed and wanted. The captains chairs in the driver and passenger seat make driving very comfortable. In dash navigation (easy to update) and the DVD in the back seat is great for the kids. yes, even in this day when we all have portable devices to watch on, I can control and monitor what they are doing and they are still happy. Good room on the third row seat and can still fit a stroller and bag. Lots of cup holders. Very nice leather seats and a great sound system. V6 got us through a lot of snow in the mountains.
Cons
Wish mine had an A/C control in the second or third row. The new ones probably do. I also was one year to soon to get a built in USB.
