I liked that it has extra capacity space. I can go on long trips with friends or relatives and comfortably fit people and luggage in the vehicle. I went to a 4 day music festival and was able to put 4 people in the car, including myself, and a ton of camping equipment, clothing, etc. The V6 engine has some pretty good power for the size of the car. The car never has engine related issues as long as I keep it maintained every two months. The car handles really well. It's easy to turn the wheel and the turning radius is great for the size of the car.
Story
I went mudding in it one time. Even though the car isn't the best for it, I never spun out and I was able to show off by doing some pretty good doughnuts. It was a fun time.
Pros
My favorite feature is that I feel safer in a bigger vehicle. It can navigate rougher terrain like muddy or snowy areas. I like that it is leather interior and makes the car feel a little classier.
Cons
It uses up a lot more gas than my last vehicle. It takes longer to hand wash because it's much bigger than my last car. It's harder to parallel park in the city. I can't fit into tight spaced parking spots. As a guy, it isn't the most masculine car out there. Some of my friends like to say that I have the "soccer mom" vehicle.

I really enjoy my 2011 Toyota Highlander. I love that it has third-row seating; however, with the third row up, you have minimal trunk space. I love the back-up camera. I love the Bluetooth; however, I find it hard to connect when driving. I really think there should be a feature where you can connect easily while driving. The car drives great and is built great. If I had to compare it, I would compare it to the Toyota Camry. There are plenty of cup holders through out the car, which is great when you have little ones. I love the rear air controls. Overall, the car is great . I wish it had a sunroof, but I can live without it. It has over 130,00 miles and still running like its new. I have not had any problems out of this car. The gas mileage is awesome, and the style is awesome. I lov... (more)
