2016 Toyota Highlander - Happy
I have been very satisfied with this car. It rides well and is roomy. I feel very safe driving this car. We have not had any problems with the car since leasing it last year. There is plenty of room for car seats, children, and all of the stuff that we take with us on long road trips. There is plenty of room in the third row as well.
Story
We took the car on a family road trip to Canada last summer. It was me, my husband and our two sons. The car held up great. We spent a lot of time in it during those ten days.
Pros
The size of the car—this one is a bit roomier than our last Highlander. We also like the color, which is a new shade of red. The car rides very well. My favorite feature of this car is the back up camera. The stereo system works well too. I like that I can control the stereo on the steering wheel.
Cons
I have no cons to report with the vehicle itself, just the process of leasing the vehicle at the dealership. I feel like they play games with regards to pricing. I just want to be told what the car costs and then decide if I can afford it. I hate negotiating car payments. It seems like the whole process takes longer than it should. I also wish the car had a luggage rack or bike rack.
2008 Toyota Highlander - It's a good car!
I really like the car, and it has held up for eight years. I use it a lot and it has quite a few miles on it, but it is still going strong. Overall, I enjoy driving the car.
Story
I have many memories driving around aimlessly with my friends in this car. We like to roll the windows down and listen to music, and just drive.
Pros
It has a great speaker system and radio. There is a lot of bass in the radio which is a pleasant feature for me, as well as the other radio controls. I also like that there is an extra compartment in the trunk, and I like the way the back seats fold down. The running board on the exterior of the car is a nice touch as well. Another pro is that the backseat windows roll all the way down, which is a feature not included in some larger SUV style cars, like the Highlander.
Cons
The cons are that the aux port is broken, the car needs a lot of maintenance. The driver's seat is hard to adjust, and it hurts my right shoulder if driving for a long period of time.
