2008 Toyota Highlander - Tire Troubles
The 2008 Toyota Highlander was a smooth riding, durable car with fast reacting breaks. The car was fantastic until I accidentally ran over a bolt and ruined one of my tires. It was then that I found out that these tires are not a standard size and are more expensive. I then had to replace them again when I moved to a colder climate.
Story
On my way to the mall with friends we were driving from the Eden's to the Kennedy in Chicago and a speed-monster crossed over three lanes causing a driver in front of me to slam on their breaks, they crashed into the car in front of them and because of my excellent breaks I was able to avoid a miserable accident.
Pros
I really like my leather seats, reverse camera and third row option. The white diamond finish made a great finish.
Cons
Non-standard sized tires and slightly difficult turn radius for a mid-sized suv.
2008 Toyota Highlander - Best mom car!
I love my Toyota Highlander! It has very good gas mileage and feels so big a spacious on the inside. It is a perfect fit for a mom with 2 young children. I have 2 rather large car seats in it and there is still plenty of space in the back. The "trunk" space is very large as well. I can fit more than enough for my family of 4 when we go on vacation. I do wish I had navigation and that the screen where the display is was bigger. It is rather small, but since I don't use it for navigation, it is fine for my needs.
Story
We have had picnics in the back of my car just for fun while taking a break at the zoo! So much room in the back!
Pros
Ample space for car seats and plenty of room in the back for luggage and such.
Cons
I do not have navigation.
