First of all, the Highlander is a visually attractive car. It's not a sports car, but it doesn't have the "soccer mom" look of many other SUVs. It comes in a variety of colors. I own the blue but also love the green and silver. The body has a sleek look. The interior is very comfortable. I can drive for many hours without feeling sore or having neck cramps, which is not true for many other cars I have driven. The car also drives very smoothly and is responsive without being overly touchy. There's excellent trunk space, which I have used in multiple moves as a college student. In other cars I needed two trips, but this car only required one! The trunk is also great for pets. I throw a dog bed in it, and my dog will sleep for a five-hour drive in comfort. The car has had a battery replac... (more)
Story
I went camping and sat in the back of this car with the seats down on a sleeping bag drinking hot cocoa with my dogs. It was a cozy and fun fall activity! I also always use this car when going on a wintery drive to see the Christmas lights in my town because the other car can't handle the snow or sleet as well!
Pros
This vehicle is very comfortable and well suited to long car trips. The interior is luxurious without seeming overly opulent or showy. This car has great storage space without being bulky. It's great for college students, road trips, pets, and moving. Drives very well and requires minimal maintenance. Very safe in bad weather and four-wheel drive allows exploring at beach or in country! I love the seat warmers, the design of the front seats, the huge trunk space, and the fact that it has lasted so long without needing a new engine or lots of repair. It's a car built to last!
Cons
This car does not have a good stereo system. It is not iPhone or Bluetooth compatible (since it is a 2006 model). I wish that it had better heating in the back seats and that the third row of seats were easier to access. Overall, though, this is a great car. Mileage per gallon could be better.

This car is great, and I have bought it already used. I enjoy the height of the car for it allows me to see everything from a wide perspective and makes the peripheral vision more attainable. The spacious interior is also a plus, and I was able to accommodate many friends in this car. The speed and the gas accumulation is great and has allowed me to save some money. The four-wheel drive is awesome since I live in a region that can rain and snow in different seasons. It has helped me to maneuver through the roads effortlessly. The sunroof is an added bonus in the summer also. Some of my dislikes with this car is the white color that I purchased. It easily gets dirty, and I need to have a car wash often. I also don't like the color of the interior since the cream is susceptible t... (more)
Story
Going to the beach with a few friends and being able to have enough room in the back for all our beach related activities, such as a beach ball and volleyball net. Also, opening the sunroof in the summer and feeling the breeze through our hair.
Pros
The pros are the four wheel-drive and the amount of gas that I conserve. This keeps my expense low and gives me the assurance that I will be safe in the snow. My favorite features would be the height of the vehicle and the spacious interior.
Cons
The "check engine" often pops up for no reason, which wastes my time with visiting the mechanic to have it reset. This is very inconvenient to me and bothersome to some levels.
