This is the best vehicle I've ever owned! I was tired of the minivan life and decided to cross into the SUV world. It is a hybrid, so it's amazing on gas, and it helps get everyone where they need to be.
Story
It was great to go up the mountains to watch the leaves change colors for the fall.
Pros
The best thing about the SUV is the gas-saving capabilities. Also, it is small like a car but has the power and dependability of a truck!
Cons
If I had to find something negative to say about this vehicle, it is that the third row is very small.

I've really enjoyed my Toyota highlander. I bought it used about 7 years ago. The person I purchased it from had taken excellent care of it. Since then it has been a breeze to maintain and drive. The car is dependable and comfortable. The sound system is great for my purposes, it has the 6 disk changer which is nice. It has good take off and doesn't feel like it struggles or hesitates. I have over the years had to do some routine things, sensor changes, battery, but nothing too serious. All in all I'm very pleased and plan to drive it until it dies!
Story
Mainly family trips. Taking my first child home from the hospital. Going to the beach or mountains.
Pros
Plenty of room for this family of four. We currently have two car seats in the back and could squeeze a small person between them. There is plenty of room in the trunk to pack up our family of four for a week long vacation. It is decent on gas especially for an SUV.
Cons
I wish the windshield wipers had more options (silly I know, but it bothers me) The heat/air never seems to cut of completely. Even when turned off you can feel a bit of air blowing out. Annoying, but not enough to make me dislike the car.
