2008 Toyota Corolla - A good first car
This vehicle was very reliable and durable. Toyota makes great cars, and this is one is no exception. I would tell people one can even buy this car used and still be satisfied with its performance. The one constant that helps this car is maintenance. I serviced the car regularly, and it was well over 100,000 miles before I sold it. However, it should be noted that winter weather can be somewhat rough on this vehicle without the proper tires.
Story
Going to the beach every summer with friends and family. Also, hanging outside my building with the music blasting from the car was cool.
Pros
Durable car. Five-disc CD changer.
Cons
Must upgrade tires for bad weather.
2015 Toyota Corolla - Great car for a small family.
I've owned two different Corolla's one from 2012 and the 2015 model. This car is one of the best I've ever owned. It has great gas mileage and a huge amount of space inside for such a small car. The upgrades from previous models are big. I love the look of the inside as well. The Bluetooth radio and the numbered thermostat are amazing. The trunk is huge. I bought a treadmill two years ago, and by folding the back seats down, the entire box could fit!
Story
I drove this car on a 12-hour-road trip to North Carolina and only had to fill up my gas tank once! I got to interact with my daughter even though she was in the backseat, because the layout of the car has the seats widely divided.
Pros
Good gas mileage, beautiful inside layout, easy to use controls, and low payment.
Cons
Key can jam if you don't have your wheels straight when you park, layout of center console is a little weird, and no sunglass holder in the ceiling.
